Tips for scanning a digital project, starting with the homepage:
- What does the homepage tell you? Look for imagery, a tagline, and other descriptive text that speaks to potential users.
- Look for and read the About page. A good About page informs the user who developed the project; the purpose or need for the work; the goals—including the process of building the project or final project outcomes; and the audience.
- What does the main navigation bar tell us about what other content is available on the project site?
